Congratulations to Walden Equipment of Lively, Ontario on their recently completed installation of their new 10 tonne crane in their brand new Lively facility.

The project features a 52' SGTR crane that will service the new facility and help with the move in.

"We really did some research before buying our crane, including visiting other sites and discussing pros and cons with other business owners. We found the Street product delivered great value, and the commitment to service from both CraneWerx and O'Brien Installations; very reassuring," states Andre Bealieu of Walden Equipment.

Congratulations to Carriere Industrial Supply on the recent installation of a Street ZX 44 10 tonne hoist. This unit replaced an existing 10 tonne unit that was becoming increasingly less reliable and maintenance intensive.

One of the challenges in this project was to provide a solution that would match the intensive duty cycle of the plant. "Our cranes never stop," says Joey Duchesne of CIS, "We needed to address our production needs versus crane downtime. The new hoist is an impessive looking unit and is very robust and seems to be able to handle the demands of the shop. Also, knowing that critical spare parts are in stock here in Sudbury definately helps assure the crane is in service."

In keeping with our committment to bring fast turn-around and increased customer support, we have now expanded our hoist stocking program.

Working with O'Brien Installations Ltd. we now stock the Street ZX 34 5 tonne wire rope hoist in Sudbury, Ontario. With this versatile unit we can feasibly install within a matter of hours, not days. As for 10 tonne units and full crane kits, we are on target to have stock in Sudbury by August 2007.

Congratulations to Marco Julien of Steelworks in Timmins on the recent installation of a SGUR 5 tonne crane, complete with a Street ZX hoist.

The crane will be servicing a new cutting bed in the recent shop expansion. The growing market for Steelworks in Northern Ontario required the expansion to meet demand.

This is the third Street unit installed for Steelworks. Marco had originally seen the equipment at an O'Brien display in a past trade show and was impressed with the rugged nature and durability of the product.

"We're quite impressed with the equipment, and we have had no trouble with them since we got them... we plan to add more as we grow."
